BVI 16 October 2026 CRS Notice

The British Virgin Islands International Tax Authority (BVI ITA) issued a notice dated October 16, 2026 for Common Reporting Standard (CRS) Reporting Entities reminding them to update their internal systems to accommodate the mandatory adoption of CRS XML Schema 3.0 starting January 1, 2027. The BVI ITA also announced that corrections to existing CRS filings, including the reporting of previously omitted Reportable Accounts, should be submitted through the BVI Financial Account Reporting System (BVIFARS) Portal no later than November 30, 2026.
